Betty Flood moved to Woodside from San Francisco in the early 1940's. A lifelong horsewoman, Betty has been an active supporter and sponsor for Pony Club, Wooodside Junior riders and local events at the old Woodside Play Pen area as well as competitive classes at Mounted Patrol, Menlo Circus Club and Cow Palace shows.
As a member of the Los Altos Hunt, Betty loved to host hunts at her property on Greer Road on which she maintains one of the vital trail connections into Huddart Park.
For all her many contributions to the town of Woodside and in particular, its equestrian heritage and the Woodside Trails we gratefully honor Betty Flood in this 50th anniversary.
