    Goals of the Woodside-area Horse Owners' Association:

  • To advocate awareness and appreciation of horses and to celebrate the rich equestrian heritage of the Woodside-area by organizing annual public events.
  • To facilitate communication among equestrian organizations and to coordinate action on significant issues affecting the keeping of horses and the maintenance of trails.
  • To enhance communication between equestrians and non-equestrians.
  • To inform residents and visitors about the safety concerns of horsemen and about trail etiquette.
  • To preserve the rural ambience of the Woodside area by promoting the restoration and maintenance of barns and trails.

WHOA! is under the fiscal umbrella of the Woodside Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, and as such is eligible to receive donations that are tax deductible as allowed by law.
