WHOA!, as an advocacy group, works with other local and regional organizations to achieve common goals. WHOA! members have been very active in two ongoing projects in Woodside which are focused on preserving significant horse facilities, specifically the Folger Stable Restoration and the renovation of the Horse Park at Woodside.

Folger Barn Preservation
The Folger Estate Stable Committee is working to preserve the historic Folger Estate Stable in Wunderlich Park, so that future generations of children and adults can enjoy its unique architecture and history as well as the horse boarding it offers. For more information, visit their website, at www.folgerstable.org. This project was a featured charity of Woodside Day of the Horse 2006.

Horse Park at Woodside
WHOA! members have also been active in helping to ensure the continuation of the Horse Park at Woodside. We are fortunate to have this remarkable piece of property and all of its advantages available and open to public use.

To learn more about the extensive plans for renovation and enhancement of the Horse Park in Woodside and the groups responsible for its bright future, please visit their website at www.horsepark.org.
